Ce que disent les minérauxMineralenDes étoiles au centre de la Terre : un fabuleux voyage avec les minéraux

Dans cet ouvrage, Patrick Cordier et Hugues Leroux montrent comment les spécialistes des minéraux scrutent le ciel au télescope, travaillent avec un accélérateur de particules, un microscope électronique, ou encore participent à des missions de la NASA.

Ce sont là quelques facettes de la vie du minéralogiste au XXIe siècle. Car les minéraux ne sont pas seulement beaux, ils racontent des histoires passionnantes dont le décryptage mobilise les techniques les plus sophistiquées et des chercheurs appartenant à tous les domaines scientifiques. Des histoires qui conduisent l'homme à voyager depuis les galaxies les plus lointaines jusqu'au centre de la Terre.
