Centre commun de microscopie The Centre Commun de Microscopie (CCM) of the Université Lille 1, facility of the Fédération Chevreul (CNRS FR 2638), includes most of the eletron microscopy facilities of the university. Since 1998, the Center benefits from the label « Instrument National » (INSU/CNRS) in Earth Sciences.

• Transmission electron microscope (TEM) FEI Tecnai G2 20 equiped with EDS micro-analysis, Gatan energy filter (EELS), electron precession and tomography.
• Transmission electron microscope (TEM) Philips CM 30 (300 kV) equiped with EDS micro-analysis, and electron precession.
• Scanning electron microscope (SEM) Hitachi S4700 with field emission gun (FEG), EDS micro-analysis, cathodoluminescence and EBIC system (« electron beam induced current »).
• Scanning electron microscope (SEM) Fei Quanta 400 with EDX and EBSD.
• Electron microbrobe CAMECA SX 100.
• Two AFM Multimode SPM (DI Digital Instrument – Veeco) and two AFM Dimension 3100 AFM (DI Digital Instrument – Veeco)
• Sample preparation laboratory.
